Jean-Marc Grussaute, Domaine Larredya, Jurançon, is elected “Wine Maker of the Year 2023” by La Revue du Vin de France Jean-Marc Grussaute chosen “Winemaker of the Year 2023” by La Revue du Vin de France! Félicitations! After a career playing professional rugby, Jean-Marc returned to his family vineyards in 1988 to become a pioneer and leader of organic farming in the Jurançon region, reinvigorating the land, with a dedication to the preservation and healthy propagation of it’s indigenous grape varieties. Today he celebrated by La Revue du Vin de France as “the tamer of the slopes” of Jurançon. In the article he is quoted : “This distinction is the validation of a long journey, I knew that the wines would change, evolve, become deeper, more complex and above all achieve their potential affinity with fine cuisine, gastronomy.”
